Litter Box

Overview:

The cats used to do their business in a ~20 gallon plastic tub that used to stink up the corner of the house and wasn’t pleasant to stare at. A reasonable solution would have been to buy a large storage bin, cut a hole in the side, and call it a day. Naturally, I decided that would be too easy and built them a piece of furniture instead.

The result: a wooden litter box enclosure with a small arched entrance and enough clearance for their glorious golden throne (still a tub).

I’m pretty sure my wife and son were out of town for the weekend so I spent some spare time in the garage trying out some wood working. The cats seemed indifferent to the new design despite the effort that went in.
